Locations of the Night & the situation in Ukraine

Amazing! Together we have already raised over 90.000 euros for emergency aid for refugees worldwide. Together we will really make a difference for people who are fleeing war and violence. We are well on our way! 

Start and finish locations 

Good news: the start and finish locations for all six cities are known! All fantastic places to organize the Night of the Refugee. We recently let you know where the Night will start and finish in your city. Curious where the other participants will start their route? Here is a list of all locations: 

• Participants in Amsterdam will start and finish their route at Club Panama; 
• The people in The Hague will start at the Grote Kerk and finish at the Grote Markt; 
• In Nijmegen we start and finish at the great cultural meeting place Hubert; 
• For the first time, Rotterdam will start and finish at the Central Library;  
• Participants in Tilburg start and end their route at Poppodium 013; 
• In Utrecht, the Night starts and ends at the Spoorwegmuseum (Railway Museum). 

Routes and rest locations 

Now that the start and finish locations are known, our very own route makers are busy mapping out the most fun and challenging routes for you. Along the way we will of course make sure that you pass some great rest locations, where you can take some time to catch your breath. Next month we will tell you more about this. 

Refugee Foundation moves into action for Ukraine

Because of the sudden war and violence in Ukraine, tens of thousands of people are fleeing. They are terrified and desperately seeking safety. We expect a great need for emergency aid, for example food and medicines. With your participation in the Night of the Refugee, you contribute to emergency aid like this.

We are currently investigating the best ways to help. Keep an eye on the social media channels of Stichting Vluchteling (Refugee Foundation) to keep up with the latest developments and our help in Ukraine.
