This is the Night of the Refugee 2023!

In the weekend of 17 and 18 June 2023 the most beautiful night of the year will take place again: the Night of the Refugee. By walking a nightly route, thousands of participants show their solidarity with all the millions of people fleeing war and violence and raise money for emergency aid. 

Participants can register for a 10, 20 or 40 km route in the city of their choice. Good news: the 40 km night routes will go from city to city again this year! 

• From Rotterdam to The Hague (start and finish location will follow soon);
• From Amersfoort (Prodentfabriek) to Utrecht (finish location will follow soon); 
• From Haarlem (De Koepel) to Amsterdam (Westergasterras);
• From Nijmegen (Vasim) to Arnhem (Stadsvilla Sonsbeek); 
• From Tilburg (Poppodium 013) to Eindhoven (Ketelhuis).  

In all start cities a 10 and 20 km evening route will also be organized. We especially invite schools and companies to join us on these routes. 

And for the early birds we have something very special this year: a morning route on Sunday! At the crack of dawn, these participants will join the 40 km walkers at rest location 2 or 3. Because these are test routes, a limited number of people can register for this.  

This year, we will pay extra attention to the unique experiences along the routes, which will be both surprising and thought-provoking. Along the way, participants will discover stories of our inspiring Night Ambassadors. At the finish they will be warmly welcomed, also by friends and family.  

In short, it promises to be a beautiful Night where together we will have one goal in mind: to make a difference for refugees throughout the world.
